In the circumstances where the Court is not presented with any evidence that the person deliberately utilized the political speech with the aim to communicate any sort of threat to some other party, then in such a case, the Court errs the side of protecting speech . But more often than not, the Court errs the side of protecting speech because of the presence of the First Amendment laws. In this regard, the Freedom of speech clause is very important. This Freedom actually gives a citizen of the country a sigh of relief while expressing. The Bill of Rights include all these under the First Amendment, which is in turn very important for Civil Liberty and hence the reason for the Court to err the side of protecting speech most of the times.
