In nursing home administrators the attitude towards fire is not
very strong. They take this situation as granted. So, I think this
should be changed and for fire safety they should
- Every facility should have written fire procedures that are
understood and practiced by all the staff members. They should know
their part when fire takes place.
- Response procudure should be practiced regularly by creating
virtual scenes.
- There should be clear code word agreed upon beforehand for the
facility to alert other staff in case of fire.
- They should have fire extinguisher in every passage.
- Fire sensing alarm should be there without fail in the entire
campus.
