Answer: Nurses as lobbyists are essential to the growth of nursing as a profession because it is important for the nurse to be politically active. It is one of the platform through which the nurse can advocate for patients. Social justice plays majornrole in the nursing profession and hence the nurses need to provide advocacy. The nurse can also involve themselves in protecting the healthcare for the populations which are vulnerable. The nurse lobbyists can directly show out their concerns as well as can have opportunity to work with the politicians to ensure the legacy and sentiments in the legislation.
