Answer: Home is a place where we feel protected and safe from various calamities as well as diseases & infections. People those who are homeless are at higher risk of developing chronic diseases as well as probe to communicable diseases. People also suffers from mental stress and depression. The public health issues arises as homeless people may increase the risk of disease spread. For example, the tuberculosis is a communicable disease which can be transmitted from infected person to the other person through cough, sputum as well as by touching the belonging of infected person. So, this could be threat for other people as due to sneezing or coughing leads to spread of the microbes/ pathogen in the environment. These are the general threats to the public health. The another case is the depression, homeless people suffers from severe depression. Hence they are also unable to have proper nutrition, this increases issues of malnutrition, deficiency diseases etc.
