The scope of reducing the obesity in children by primary prevention method in which it aims to reduce the average ris in the whole population and eliminate or reduce the cause or determinants of departures from good health, control exposure to risk and promote factors that are protective of health.By health promotion that encourage children with knowledge and skills they need to control and improve the well being.This health promotion involves the intervention that create positive changes in economic, political and social circumstances.The population based approaches to childhood obesity are used in primary prevention and health promotion activities due to their greater impact on public health.The importance of social determinants of health to the prevention of childhood obesity which means that this intervention to reduce the risk of childhood obesity should give consideration to the children who are the focus of the intervention and the environment in which those children spend their time.
Recommendation given for practise is provide education and social support to help parents/ caregivers to promote health eating and physical activity in infants and toddlers . And collaborate with parents /primary caregivers,educators and support staff such as teachers,childcare providers to promote helth eating and physical activity in all settings where preschool children gather.Collaborate with school communities to promote regular physical activity among elementary school children.Facilitate and support the integration of health and nutrition education into elementary school programs and support the improvement of school food environment.Should monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of family approach to healthy eating and physical activity and evaluate the effectiveness and sustainability of school and community based primary prevention initiatives.Given advocate and support the evaluation of an organisational compliance with healthy public policies and impact of such policies on childhood eating behaviour and physical activity.
