With the aid of detailed illustrations and examples, identify at least FIVE (5) challenges faced by manufacturers in the application of any of the following processes during this pandemic: Joining Assembly, Surface Engineering and reverse engineering
Challenges faced by manufacturers during this pandemic while joining assembly are as follows :-
1) During this pandemic due to lockdown their is limited facilities of travelling are available because of that employees cant go to company. This is the major problem faced by industries while assembly joining i.e. Manpower shortage.
2) Due to less manpower companies are unable to maintain their product quality. Product quality is affected during this COVID-19 pandemic.
3) At the same time the production of industries is less because of shortage of employees and labours. As we all knows all the industries are not fully automatic they required manpower to run thier operation and manufacturing smoothly tahts why production rate is low during this covid-19 pandemic.
4) While following the rule of social distancing during joining assembly it creates problems on manufacturing of products.
5) For electronics manufacturing, if not handled quickly, these challenge could result in delayed launch schedules, lower financial returns, and qquality issues in the field that could damage their brand reputation.
6) Manufacturing in a safe environment - A large percentage of electronics products are assembled by hand and those human operators are typically spaced at 0.6 meter intervals. Increasing the interval to one or two meters, as specified by WHO increases assembly line length and the cost for manufacturing a product.
