The key drivers for Human Resources at PepsiCo are diversity and engagement. Higher levels of diversity and higher levels of engagement enable and empower the employees of the company to drive transformation within the organization. The drivers enable PepsiCo to focus on ‘performance with Purpose’ initiative. The end result is that PepsiCo has now shifted its focus from performance management to performance improvement of its employees.

The underlying idea for the key drivers is that PepsiCo should have a workforce that is reflective of its diverse consumers and the diverse communities that are served by the company.
