why we use diode and capacitor in inverter circuit ?
Use of diodes:-
Diodes are required for the flow of reactive power. If there is phase difference in voltage and current, flow of reactive power takes place. When the voltage at the load is positive but we want the current to be negative then we must provide a path where the current direction is from the load to source. This path is provided by the diodes.
Use of capacitor:-
In an inverter, capacitor is placed in parallel with the input to minimize the effects of voltage variations as the load changes. The capacitor also provides a low-impedance path for ripple currents generated by power switching circuits.
