Product position is a marketing technique which is used by producers to make the product more reachable to its customers by using different communication channels. The product will be designed based on customer needs and requirements, market conditions, competition and basing on customer Group.

Perceptual position mapping is a technique which is used by marketers to visually display the perception of consumer and their requirements. This mapping helps the marketers to understand their customers preferences and their tastes. Perceptual position mapping helps the producers to understand what the consumer opinion about their brand and their competitor brands. This position mapping also helps to see how a product is functioning in the market and how consumer behaviour towards that product. It will help the producer to make a business plan to succeed in the market.
