Answer #1

Several factors led to the rise of strong and vibrant manufacturing base in the U.S. This dynamic and expansive growth was, in part, a transportation revolution via railways and canal, a communications revolution spurred by invention of the telegraph, rise in agricultural yields and the mechanization of farm equipment, an increasing financial institutions prosperity, and larger cities. The enhance ability to source and transport materials across the country with ease turned many local manufacturers into national manufacturers. Additionally workplace innovations like the assembly-line method of production, allowed such companies to produce goods on a large scale. Thus, during the first half of the 1800s, the economy of United States experienced a huge growth in output and trade, and an increase in the standard of living for millions of Americans.
