Ways to motivate the development of public transportation system :

1. Awareness and Quality : On order to motivate the public for the use and government to develop the current art we need to gather the public attention towards maximizing the usage of public transportation by various awareness programs that can work at local level and we have to ensure the quality of the transportation system i.e the 24 hour operation, proper number of vehicles, comfort and the low fare that will attract the public to use it.

2. Some policies :

We have to make and strictly follow some policies for the proper utilization and the smooth functioning of the public transportation system.

for example : strictly use of lane system, public transport on the road should set a higher speed limit with a separate lane, Giving preference to the public transportation vehicles on the signals and the toll booths.

Other aspects :

Aspects like the taxation policy on the private vehicle should set high and the excise duty of the gas should be higher etc so that people use the buses, trains and metro for the daily transport.
