The America has been a world's pioneer in science and technology after 1940's due to the very competition between all countries of the world. This competition arised due to the world at that time was witnessing the downfall of British Empire and need to be technically advanced to sustain autonomy amongst the various countries competing in technology advancement.

Various Inventions had taken place and the most important of all the atomic bomb which had a great impact on world war 2 when "little boy" and "fat man" named two atomic bomb samples were dropped in Japan as a retaliation for Japan's attack on Pearl Harbour.

Following are some important inventions in America post 1940's:

1940- Jeep Invented- Military forces in America needed fast movement in warzone areas on rough surfaces, Karl Pabst inveted the jeep

1940- Waldo Semon invented a best in quality and more cheaper method of sythetic rubber

08/23/1940- The color television provided colours to the filming visions invented by Peter Goldmark that has boosted the television industries as every home wanted a couple of television sets.

1941- Aerosol Spray cans Lyle David and Sullivian Aeroso spray cans to dispense bug repellant.

1943- Jacques Costeau invented the Scuba suit that would help America to discover the misteries and treasures of deep oceans.

1943- Richard and James Wright invented the Slinky and Silly putty that would bring industrial development in art and craft industry for America.

07/16/1945- The atomic bomb was invented and was tested by the Manhattan Project.

10/08/1945-Percy Spencer accidentally discovered the cooking properties of Microwaves radiations.

12/23/1947- The trasistors added the needed specimen for the growth of computer microchip industries and a vision of today's zenith for the silicon valley. Bardeen and Walter invented transistors.

1948- Electrical engineer George invented Velcro and patented.

1942- Super Glue was invented.

1952- Diet soda was invented by Kirsch Bottling for diabetics.

1952- The first Video tape recorder was invented by BBC.
