At the 100 C temperature the liquid water is reaches its boiling point where the phase change starts and it converts the liquid water into the vapor (gas). Hydrogen bonding is the strongest intermolecular force present in the water molecules which is the electrostatic force of attraction between the H and O. But when the hydrogen bond is broken at the boiling point then liquid water starts to convert into the vapor.
