If something looks green to us, how has the molecule absorbed light in the green UV-Visable light spectrum?
If something looks green then it means that it is reflecting green light which our eyes are able to see.
So if it is green then it has absorbed all other wavelengths in the visible spectrum which do not have the green color wavelength i.e some of the know colors are red, yellow, blue, violet etc.
So except green, all the other wavelengths falling in the visible region are absorbed.
Please do give a thumbs up as it matters a lot and in case there are doubts leave a comment.
