Answer #1

Hard water is rich in Ca and Mg. Simply the hardness of water is the amount of Ca and Mg dissolved in water. Due to this hardness more prooerties if water will fade away. as an example you can't wash your hands if the water hardness is high. hardness of water is ine of the most important parameters of water quality. Water quality parameters tells about the health of the water body; whether the water is suitable for drinking and other uses.

There are some uses in water hardness also. Water shoukd contain some minerals which are necessary for human body. As well because of Ca and Mg un water fish and other aquatics can't absorb toxic metaks like As Pb.

But there should be a limit for the hardness if not it will be tixic to human bodies..
