Antibodies are produced by plasma cells of the B lymphocyte . if antibodies are produced by same type of B lymphocytes that are clone of each other , which type of antibodies are known as monoclonal antibodies. The monoclonal antibodies binds to the same type of antigen or epitope that invade the body . Monoclonal antibodies are used in Cancer therapy by the synthesis of same type of antibodies in the laboratory . They are used in the chemotherapy. The use of the monoclonal antibodies sometimes an autoimmune response such as the anaphylactic shock . MonoClonal antibodies are produced by introducing the specific antigen into the mouse . The antibodies that are produced are cultured formed from the B lymphocytes. There are various disease in which monoclonal antibodies are used for the treatment such as the multiple sclerosis , rheumatoid arthritis, certain type of breast cancer.The MonoClonal antibodies are not used in the Haemagglutinin assays .The Slight modification result in changing the binding site of the antibody. Systemic lupus erythomatous is also diagnosed by the monoclonal antibodies.
