Monoclonal antibodies are the antibodies that are identical produce by B cell clone and directed toward specific or single epitope or antigen. It is human body nature to produce antibodies to protect when the antigen enters our body but all the antibodies is not able to protect all the antigen. Much research has been done on the effectiveness of monoclonal antibodies therapy to reduce the COVID 19 infection. This is a neutralizing antibodies that can replicate in large quantity and injected in the human body. These antibodies will attach to the protein of the COVID 19 and make the immune system to respond on it. This helps to increase the immunity of the infected person and attacks the antibodies leads to recovery of the patient. So, many doctor use monoclonal antibodies therapy or treatment for COVID 19 patient.
