1. Lampreys and hagfish, are combinedly called as  cyclostomes or ‘agnathans’, they are the  jawless fish of surviving lineages. During vertebrate evolution, they  diverged early.  craniate has skull of hard bone or cartilage. Hagfishes and Hyperoartia (including lampreys), are the living member of this group Craniata.
