Cancer cells divide progressively from one tissue to the another tissue, this is nown as metastasis. Apoptosis is a process which causes programmed cell death with the help of protease enzyme called caspase.The cancer cell mutate the tumour suppresive genes and overexpressed the antiapoptopic genes which prevent tumour formation.

Cancer cell activates the enzyme telomerase which increase the cells life spam. That's why cancer cells are immortal. Cancer cells also have ability of angiogenesis.
