1.main memory,

2. control unit

3 arithmetic-logic. unit.

4.input/output

Input devices include keyboards and optical scanners; output devices includes printers and monitors.The main memory is used to store the information received by a computer from its input or in an auxiliary storage device. The control unit is responsible for arranging instructions from the memory in correct sequence and the commands to the respective unit. All the arithmetic and logic calculations are performed by ALU .The main memory, control unit, and ALU together make up the central processing unit (CPU) of Computer.
