Epigenetic is the study of how DNA interacts with multitude of smaller molecules found within cells which can activate it deactivate genes.DNA are converted to DNA and translated to proteins and proteins determine cell structure and function.Epigenetic changes can boost or reduce the gene function.If DNA gets binded by chemical tags make DNA unavailable for transcription and these chemical tag are called as epigenome.The most common epigenome is methyl group which gets bonded to DNA inhibiting gene expression or the gets tightly wrapped around histone proteins making DNA unavailable for gene expression.THese tag bonded to DNA are influenced by certain physical and chemical factors like pollution,radiation and Sun light we can study these factors and identify the factors responsible for the binding of chemical factors to DNA to treat epigenetic effects.
