2. Consider where humans and other primates fall in the biological and behavioral continuums. What role does culture play in determining humans' position on that continuum? How important do you think culture is in distinguishing humans from other primate species?

In human, cultural traits are passed from one generation to another using social learning along with other traits. Human position on that continuum will always be above than other primates. Presence of cultural trait is unique to the human. Now it is known that other primates have also cultural trait but human will always be having many cultural traits. Traits may be clothing sense., food habit trait or any behavioural trait., human show great adaptations towards cultural trait.  

Culture can play an important role in distinguishing human from other primate. Humans are as always be in on the top from other primates as they have more evolved brain, through which they are able to coordinate many activities. That know how to dress properly and how to make tasteir food. These activities are not present in other primate species.
