While acknowledging that both nature and nurture play a role in determining human behavior, which one do you think has more of an influence? Present the best evidence that you can to support one position or the other, using information from observations and experience, as well as what you've learned regarding the nature/nurture debate from this class. Be sure to substantiate your answer with facts and examples.
Although nature plays a minor role in determining the personality, attitude and life of people, in my opinion, it's nurture that plays a more significant role in what one would become and how one would behave. That's why the famous psychologist James Watson was able to say boldly that give me a dozen well formed babies and I would bring them in my own environment and make them whoever you want them to become. Another instant that the African Americans who were taught to be primitives and will not learn the Western ways are living on par with the European Americans. Everyone who lives in a different country adopt to that country and live like the native people. Thus, it's nurture that plays the most important in determining one's life because it's survival of the fittest that lives.
