Protooncogenes is a gene which altered by mutation .
Protooncogenes have many functions in the cell like providing
signels that lead to cell division . Many protooncogenes regulate
programmed cell death.
In cancer normally help in cell growth . When it changes there
are many copies of it . It becomes a bed gene that can permanently
turned on or activates when it is not supposed to be. When this
happens cell growth become out of control and it leads to
cancer.
Tumor suppressor genes are segment of dna that code for
negative regulated proteins. It keep the cell from undergoing
uncontrol division . Mutated p53 genes are believed to be
responsible for causing tumour. So because of this genes cell cycle
become uncontrolled and too much growth of cells causes cancer
