1 The two factors that regulate blood flow to the tissue are the resistance and pressure gradient. The resistance is of two types peripheral resistance and vascular resistance we can take it as a whole by total resistance. The pressure gradient is pressure difference and the blood pressure of arteries has a great role to do with it.
a) if the pressure gradient increases the blood flow to tissue increases. The great difference in pressure makes the blood flow quick. Blood flows from region of high pressure to low pressure and as the gradient increases the blood flow also increases.
b)if resistance increases the blood flow decreases. Resistance is the opposition to the flow. So as the vascular or peripheral resistance increases the blood flow becomes difficult and the flow decreases.
