Both B and T lymphocytes are produced in the bone marrow. AFter their production these cells undergo the process of maturation before their release into the blood.
Maturation of B cells occur in the bone marrow.
While T Lymphocytes migrate to the thymus gland where it matures.
In circulation after exposure to pathogen or antigen, T cells proliferates and differentiate into different populations of T cells such as killer T cells, Helper T cells, Memory T cells, cytotoxic T cells, Suppressor t cells.
Similarly b cells differentiate into Plasma cells that forms antibodies and B memory cells.
