Answer #1

Suppose ab=25 where a>=0 , b>=0 , Then what is the minimum value of (a+b)?

This is the real world problem .

suppose you have some money (a) and I have some money (b) and product of our money is 25. then what is the minimum sum of our money ?

To know we should know about AM (arithmetic mean),GM (geometric mean) . And we have inequality AM>=GM. That means ,

(a+b)/2=sqrt(ab);

or , (a+b)>=2*sqrt(25)

or, (a+b)>=10;

Hence minimum value of (ab) is 10 . This is real world problem where inequality is used .

Find a linear relationship (equation) that you would use or rely on in your field when you receive your degree, and explain what it is and how it is used. Identify the initial condition, such as the full tank of gas above, and the rate of change. For a linear equation, the rate of change (slope) needs to be constant. If you can’t find one in your field, broaden your research to include any real-world application. please reference if possible
