Answer #1

UML stands for Unified Modeling Language. It is a general purpose, modeling language in the field of software engineering. It is intended to provide a standard way to visualize system design. It is originally based on the notations of the Booch method, object modeling technique which it has integrated into a single language.

It is necessary for accountants to learn the basics of UML because of the following reasons:

1) It is very flexible in nature. So it helps the accountants to be flexible in there work.

2) It being a language is not a very complicated. Accountants need to know only a fraction of language to properly use it.
