The choosen hypothesis is :

Rationale : Since we want to test if there is a difference of means between average Verbal IQ scores of Men and Women we will use the independent 2- sample t-test. This will be a 2-tailed test as we want to hypothesize if the differences exist between the 2 samples. The   in our case, are basically the average of verbal IQ for male and female.
