Generate your own hypothesis about differences in how and what males and females order in restaurants. How could you set up an experiment to test your hypothesis? Be sure to include independent and dependent variables.

Aim: To find out if there are any differences in how and what males and females order in restaurants.

Null Hypothesis- There will be no differences in how and what males and females order in restaurants.

Methodology

Design- This will be a between groups cross sectional study which will consist of two groups, males and females.

Sample and Venue- Males and females who order at a restaurant.

Variable:

Independent Variable - The gender of the person, viz. male or female

Dependent variable - How and what they order at the restaurant.

Tools- Scales or measures to asses the how and what the two groups order a the restaurant.

Procedure- Orders will be taken from the sample consisting of both the groups, the measures will be on how and what they order in the restaurants. Scoring and analysis will be done to find out if there are any differences between both the groups.
