Answer #1
  1. The seven steps to writing a good survey are as follows

Step 1: Mostly ask closed ended questions.

Closed ended questions are useful to get appropriate information. For open ended questions need more time and effort. If open ended questions are more then it will be result in respondent leave your survey sooner as compare to closed ended questions. No more than 2-3 open ended questions in survey. If possible put them at the end.

Step 2: Your survey questions must be unbiased

Setting an opinion in your question prompt can impact respondents to answer in a way that doesn’t reflect how they really feel.

Step 3: Give balanced set of options for answer:

If asking questions regarding impact of particular service then you give option in positive side and also in negative side.

Step 4: Do not ask two or more things in one question:

Confusing respondents is equally as bad as influencing their answers. In both cases, they’ll choose an answer that doesn’t reflect their true opinions and preferences.

Step 5: Keep your questions different from each other:

If question repeated then you will not get good respond and its effects on yours survey.

Step 6: Some of the questions be optional to answer

Respondents may not know the answers to all of your questions. And there may be some questions they simply don’t feel comfortable answering. Keep both of these things in mind when deciding which questions to require answers to and when you’re uncertain whether to make a certain question optional or required, lean on making it optional.

Step 7: Do pilot survey

It is useful for finding mistakes in your survey.
