see statistics and Probability are two different things. probability is nothing but the certainty about something lets say the probability of rain on yesterday was 0.10 means hare only 10% chance that there was rain. when we are talking about probability then we may or may not sure about things.

now there are different parameters for measuring probability that are called statistics like mean median, mode.

now i will give you the example of mean

the mean mileage of certain bike is 45km per litre means here statistics is mean and its computed by using several trials.
