(ii) What are the different concepts?

in population ecology it is used to repesent intrinsic rate of increase.The intrinsic rate of increase is the difference between birth and death rates; it can be positive, indicating a growing population; negative, indicating a shrinking population; or zero, indicting no change in the population.

and in genetics it is used to represnt recessive allele for red color in flowews.
