The "STATS" button has three options-- 'EDIT','CALC' & 'TESTS'. While EDIT allows entry and modifications of DATA , CALC allows calculations using data and TESTS allows hypothesis testing like--
1. Z-Test(Test of hypothesis of mean for one large sample using raw data or summary data.),
2. T-Test(Test of hypothesis of mean for one small sample using raw data or summary data.),
3. 2 sample T Test(Test of hypothesis of means for two small samples using raw data or summary data.),
4. 2 sample Z Test(Test of hypothesis of means for two large samples using raw data or summary data.),
5. Z Interval(Calculates the specified Confidence Interval of the mean for one large sample using raw data or summary data.) ,
6. T Interval(Calculates the specified Confidence Interval of the mean for one small sample using raw data or summary data.),
7. 1-Prop ZTest(Test of hypothesis of proportions for one large sample using summary data.),
8. 2- Prop ZTest(Test of hypothesis of proportions for two large samples using summary data.) and others.
