Answer #1

Few dating sites, give the options of video calling (example - live chat) , where one can see non verbal cues such as their facial expression, hand gestures etc. Even while texting, it is easy to understand if the person is interested in the communicaion or not by the way one responds. If the response seems like one word answer and is heading towards ending the communication each time, the person is clearly uninterested to text and has other better work to do. Few take things forward, and meet each other personally. In such cases, interest of the person, their non verbal cues demonstrating it can be easily seen. Non verbal cues, are the subconscious ways of telling what the person feels and thinks.
