-Do you believe that we can tell when others are lying?
-Give examples of nonverbal cues you have interpreted as signs that someone you know lied to you.
-From viewing these clips, what did you learn about your own nonverbal communication style?
We can definitely say whether one is telling the truth or talking genuine information. Face is the index of the mind but when a person lies it’s more than the face because we could identify it from more bodily expressions.
I have noticed shifty eyes because one who lies doesn’t look at us when they lie. They would also keep shifting their sitting posture and think on the information they just gave, in order to remember things.
I learnt that I should make a very good eye contact which is more important non-verbal communication that connects to confidence and authenticity. I also learnt to take proper posture and make appropriate gesture that would mean what I intended to communicate.
