If a child is very active and interested in sports, but is not able to play sports as the house is too small or he does not have any siblings to play with, then the parents can take initiative and create an environment where the child is able to play a sport and be active. This may be done by taking the child everyday to a playground or a park, encouraging him to make friends with other kids and encourage him to do what he wants. Here, the parents are trying to fit the environment and their own temperament with that of the child, in order to make him more productive.
