There are a number of ways in which we can define intelligence however in general terms Intelligence can refer to the overall capacity of any individual with respect to their abilities in terms of acting in a manner to achieve the motive which is influenced by their thinking pattern with the use of environmental factors as a support.

Crystallized intelligence refers to the type of Intelligence that is utilized by an individual in a manner that is pre-existing in their knowledge. Crystallized intelligence is a form of solid and stable information that has been gathered upon by the intellect of an individual for specific and particular conditions and questions.

Examples of crystallized Intelligence may include actual knowledge such as events associated with a particular year, facts about any entity which are universally known and knowledge such as the pathway to home.

Fluid intelligence refers to the type of Intelligence that is utilized by an individual to solve problems by the use of analysis and logic while utilizing their reasoning skills. Fluid intelligence is a form of creativity present in an individual which helps them deal with problems and situations which are not predefined and have to be solved by tweaking their existing knowledge.

Examples of fluid intelligence include use of logical ability is in a Math quiz, problem solving abilities during a game of puzzle and analyzing the map define the pathway to a place which is not known to an individual previously.
