Answer #1

Mindset Theory – It is a way to understand the implications of the opinions that an individual hold for the classification of intelligence and this has consequences on knowledge and education.

Mindset Theory – Fixed vs. Growth Mindset

People with a fixed mindset are only concerned in the advice on their achievement in actions but they don’t use this advice to learn as they believe that their accomplishment rests on on the level of inborn ability that they have and not due to their determination to learn. And because of this mindset of not being able to achieve more than their inborn ability they fear failure or rejection

On the other hand, people with growth mindset credits learning as the only parameter for their success. Therefore, the person with this mindset is not frightened of fiasco as they point out that more you get rejected the more you need to learn and improve those areas were you are weak or areas due to which you are getting rejected. And thus, they give effort, apply time to practice, and accomplish the new opportunity of learning. And this gives them confidence to give another effort to get success.

In both these mindsets we find a term failure and it is painful for the person with growth mindset as well. But failure only means that are problems that needs to be fixed and that’s what makes the difference between these two mindsets. And fixing these problems providing solutions to it.

Bigger issues are also affected due to different mindsets. For example, employers emphasise on appointing employees. Employers with fixed mindset generally concentrates extra on devoting in high aptitude employees and relatively participate less in professional growth and ongoing training.
