Discuss how you will evaluate the application of Jean Watson's Theory of Human Caring to a clinical problem as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APRN).

The nursing procedure in the Jean Watson theory involves same steps as in the scientific research process like assessment, plan, interventions and evaluation. By the creation of care plan a nurse can determine how the variables would be examined and what data has to be collected.

According to the theory as the suggestion of purely ‘caring’ without giving focus to technological machinery cannot solely applied. It also deal with the importance of nurse- patient interactions rather than the practice they are confined to technology.

The statement of ‘soul satisfaction’ has made the increased involvement of patient and nurses when the experience is satisfying.

The quality of care offered by the nurse is enhanced because nurses become the active participant with the patient.
