Suppose that technique for producing children was perfected. If you were to choose to have children, would you consider using this technique? What if there was a chance that you otherwise might pass on a genetic disease to your children? Would there be any circumstances in which you would consider human cloning?

Answer #1

There are certain things in our life , that we feel they should be better left undisturbed. As in reproduction , the child birth is a process that must not be experimented with as this is something that God has written for us.

Many times we feel what if these things were not present in our child , and he could be just perfect as us. But who knows what i feel as perfect , is a flaw in somebody else's opinion. May be I have some recessive genetic traits, that did not pass on to my child , and that for good.

So even if thus thing is perfected , I will leave it on to the hands of God , to decide what is better for me , and what is better for my child, because not everything that I take control of is perfect. So I will never consider human cloning for this reason.

Assume you were a physician and a mother with two mentally retarded children consulted you. In the course of an interview, you learned that the urine of the children had a curious odor. You later tested their urine with ferric chloride and found that, whereas normal urine gives a brownish color, the children’s urine stained green. You deduced that the chemical responsible must be phenylpyruvic acid. Because of chemical similarity to phenylalanine, it seemed likely that this substance had been...
