Human science is a subject in itself and it identifies with the investigation of society. The norms, culture and values that development society and how unique individuals influence society. ... Our communication whether it is up close and personal or not, our connections and so on are the cases of Sociology.

If I need initiate a sociological study I would do “Sociology of youth Culture”

Youth culture is another entrancing sociological subject. Youngsters have a place with numerous subcultures, which they delineate in their state of mind, dress, music, and that's only the tip of the iceberg. Concentrate these societies enables us to see how our reality functions - especially the media because of the way that the larger part of Indian media [especially social media] consumer is between the ages of 15 and 22.

Like : Maturity , deviant behaviour, extreme sports, Versatility etc can be studied.

Research question:

  1. Is media effecting youth?
  2. Determine effect of one variable over other / Causal : Cause and Effect

Research Methods:

Honestly, it depends on complete research project and hypothesis we need to focus on. If I take current scenario of media and youth then I would focus on multiple methods so that we have substantial supporting’s as well as findings.

Firstly, will review the previous literature, various studies to support the problem as well as findings. Followed by the survey/interview methods. In context to India, where media has evolved I last 10 years, then we need sample from 2 phases, pre-evolution and during evolution, this would help us giving positive weights on findings. Why survey and interview is important because we need to understand the person lifestyle, lifestyle clock. Therefore, survey questions needs to be very accurate and lead to some understanding on there trends, attitude, behaviour etc.

Issue might be that , since whoever we are interviewing is young, therefore sometime they pretend and touch some other boundaries which might mislead us.
