Answer #1

The parent's decision to send Marjane out of the country at the age of fourteen was the need of the hour. With the increasing number of hardships that the little girl was facing, it was the best for her parents to send her out of the country for a better and a sound future. Marjane wished to be the revolution which would change the traditions of her country. However, this resulted in threats and she was unsafe in her own country. Perhaps my parents would not do the same. They would not send me out of the country at the age of fourteen. However, if the situations were different then yes, they would have sent me out of the country for my safety and betterment. Marjane's parents had to make the decision to send her out of the country, only so that Marjane could have a better and a bright future.
