What do you think of immigration and why it may be a solution for states that have a low fertility rate? 200 words or less,
Immigration is defined as the international movement of people into a destination country of which they are not natives or where they do not possess citizenship. This happens in order to settle or reside in other country in search of good lifestyle and earnings.
Low fertility rates among countries lead to population decline and higher proportions of older citizens. So the countries with such demographics allows more immigrants, along with the revenue, services and cultural influences. Many of those migrating today are ethnically, religiously and culturally different from the populations of the receiving countries and hence will introduce new variation in the population. This will also lead to an increase in the population of that respective country.
