Answer #1

Addictions are hard to overcome. Individuals who have been drug abusers or dependent on alcohol often have difficulties in kicking the habit. However, taste aversion therapy could be used to counter addiction. Aversion is a form of classical conditioning wherein an individual makes associations of a certain stimulant with a negative consequence. For instance, as a part of the aversion therapy, an individual who is alcohol dependent, is given alcohol mixed with a drug which results in vomiting right after ingesting alcohol. The person here develops an aversion to alcohol due to the consequences that follow. Taste aversion therapy could really help individuals get rid of addiction as it has repercussions to inducing drugs.

DISCUSSION- PRODUCTION THEORY First, the idea that firms (and individuals) should make decisions on how they optimize "on the margin" (where MC=MR). Often people get confused and think about making decisions based on the average (such as average total cost). That's the idea that each additional unit provides less benefit than the previous unit consumed. Use these concepts...

Executives can be difficult because they may believe that the organization should accommodate them (and not the other way around) and that security should not get in the way of business. IT people can be difficult because they may believe they know what they are doing and...

So, it is important to be able to understand the real interest rate being paid out to your bondholders (yield) at any given time. You will utilize the information in this...
