I do not believe the employers should provide a certain prescription or drug for their workers. This is a personal choice for the worker to make themselves. Some workers work just fine without any additive or supplementary. Others might need a little boost such as caffeine in a coffee or energy drink. The second a company starts providing a certain drug to their employees, is when they’ll run into liability issues for those employees if they have any health issues. For all safety reasons, the work would want to stay away from this situation completely so they are not held at fault for any side effects their employees could possibly run into such as addiction, side effects of anxiety and so on. This is a choice for the employee to make, not the employer. If the employee chooses to purchase this type of caffeine pill in a sense, then they are held liable for any after effects.
The ethical implications of producing the drug are the side effects that come with it. Sure the drug does what it intends to do, keep you awake (for the most part.) However it also often comes with anxiety, and even noted as some fatal reactions are possible. The company had to determine if they wanted to go to market with a drug that could benefit one goal but create many more possible problems. However this information is given about the drug and it’s up to the buyer to ignore those possible outcomes or potential problems that could arise taking it. Ethical issues personally to me is when they drug company focuses on only the benefits and then skips past or speeds up the speaking for the potential problems that come from taking the pill making it easier for a buyer to ignore or miss the negative side. The ethical issues as noted above for the employer would be held liable for any issues that arise from it. One they’re held liable for paying or producing a plan for the drug and second they’re held liable for any consequences for the employee if they have issues coming from the drug. Those consequences or side effects include all the potential issues such as anxiety, sleeplessness, depression, fatal issues and all other side effects listed that are associated with the drug.
There is no ethical issue with the employee besides an internal ethical issue. Unless the employee is pushing others to take this pill with them, they only have to concern for their own health. If the employee decides they want to take this pill without any push of an employer, that is on them and they are held liable for any consequences that follow.

NO….. I probably am the worst person to answer this question, because I do not believe in pills being a solution for stress, depression or other anxiety issues. Anytime you need to take pills long term, with the exception of blood thinners and things of that sort, it is a bad idea. I always laugh when I see those commercials that tell you to contact your doctor if you have the symptoms that they are advertising for. Then you see all the side effects and they are worse than the original issue. I view this solution the same way. Do I want to be tired? Or do I want to have nausea, headache, skin rash, hallucination or depression? It is a pretty clear answer in my eyes. Besides, I love coffee. I could drink it all day long.
Well, I think there is no ethical implications in the drug makers eyes. It is all about money to them. They claim that they want to educate the world of this disorder and that they have a solution for it. Sounds more like a marketing strategy than a solution for employees in this situation. But I think the ethical implications are worse symptoms than this so-called disorder as well as causing more drug dependent individuals.
We are in a world that is fast pace and a lot of companies will always have shift work situations. The company will have ethical issues if they promote this drug to their employees, but it is up to the employee to find other ways to stay awake such as coffee or get more sleep when not at work. The company will also face ethical issues if their employee starts to hallucinate while on the job. Employees that use this drug will deal with ethical issues because they will become addicted and have other symptoms that will cause them to miss work or hurt themselves or someone else if they start to hallucinate.
1) In my view , an employer must guide its employees to use only prescribed drug and medicines. A workplace must have gymnasium . Even , it should offer only healthy and balanced diets. A realistic description of drugs must be given to employees so that they can get right set of information. Ethical issues must be followed by the managers of the organization .
2) As per my view, organizational stress can not be removed with drugs or medicines. It must be take care through physical exercise and meditation. Marketers must realize their ethical responsibility so that global mass can be educated for the right use of any diets or food products. Employees must be taken care not to indulge in any drug addiction which might cause danger to their health as well as to organizational profit.
