the us needs a law thar restricts advertising to children.

Places like Denmark and Belgium restrict advertising to children, while Sweden, Norway, and parts of Canada have made advertising to children under 12 illegal. meanwhile an average american chil watches over 16000 every year on the television. apart from the few regulations and restrictions on the material that is broadcasted there is no as such legal restrictions.

Targeting children in advertising is not only fertile soil to establish tastes that'll last a lifetime, but it's also profitable. In the United States, children spend $30 billion annually and directly influence an additional $250 billion in family spending

childhood obesity has tripled since 1980 in the united states which is the major influence of advertising to the children. the US needs a law to protect its children and the major population from getting obese and it is also leading to great poverty.
