The decline in; smoking, drugs, and alcohol amongst the rich. While as according to a 2010 study published in the Annual Review of Sociology, poorer people are more likely to smoke and drink in excess, both potential causes of dying younger.

Poor are less likely to have good health habits such as exercise.

Poor are less educated and aware. Thus they are less health conscious.

Poor have less access to good health care.
