Institutional or institutionalized discrimination is an unjust and discriminatory mistreatment of an individual or group of individuals by Society and it's institutions as a whole. Institutional discrimination is concerned with discrimination that has been incorporated into the structures, procesess andprocedures ofanorganization 's either because of prejudices or because of failure to take into account the particular needs of different social identities.

Social policies enables us to understand the various social problems,their causes and what Govt. Can do to eliminate this problems. Social policies are directed towards ameliorization of social problems
