After the civil war South was affected because of the civil war hardships increased for the southerners, agricultural lands of the south had difficulty in producing goods for the soldiers and civilians.
the south was devasted land almost al things had been burned, many of the people become homeless and were separated from their family. After the civil war, cities and villages in the south were badly destroyed and the south was forced to rebuild its labor system which was earlier dependent on the workers.
There was an increase in poverty because of the decrease in the production of cash crops and the civil war also weaken the south economy by putting large taxes on the states.
